God is Faithful

Today I allowed myself to follow the unforced rhythm of grace. Although I set some goals for my writing week, I knew today would be a different kind of day.

I woke up at 3:00 a.m. and was not able to go back to sleep. Some days, you just need to move slower than other days. The challenges continued as I spoke with my doctor. It turns out; I may have another kidney infection. Not fun.

Tomorrow, my editor and I will upload my book for publication. Apparently, the enemy has taken issue with that particular goal and is tossing grenades my way. In addition to the lack of sleep and some health challenges, my Facebook page (for the book updates) was hacked. Passwords needed changing and pages were deleted. My computer must have the flu because it is not acting as it usually does. I’ve been down the spiritual road a ways and I can tell you, this series of roadblocks has the stench of the enemy all over it.

Yet God is always faithful! My life theme verse is Romans 8:28. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” I love God and I was called to write this book for a purpose. Therefore, God will work all things for the good. The kidney infection, the hacked Facebook page, my computer glitches and my lack of sleep. God is good ALL the time! I am thankful I have some mighty prayer warriors behind me, and God going before me because in God’s eyes, these roadblocks are tiny specks.

Praise God he made me stubborn for a reason! There is always good news. I received the signed contract for copyright permission in the mail this past weekend! We have a title (way to bury the lead eh?) Thanks for your prayers and support. With God’s strength in my weakness, I will see this through…even if I have to crawl across the finish line!

Oh…And the title is… Once in a Lullaby: My Journey Home
