  1. I live within in a simpler time
    in my house and home.
    There’s just one computer line
    and I don’t have a phone.
    I write the way I did before,
    at least that’s how it seems
    though it’s hard to ignore
    correction fluid on the screen.
    And welding, blast from the past,
    or at least, well, I hope I haven’t
    filled the shop with flammable gas;
    one spark, and I leave the planet.
    But the main thing where my heart is triced,
    today and forever, Jesus Christ.
